Tyler it’s great to see you thanks for joining. Super quick I just wanna do an audio check can you hear me just fine?
Yes
Perfect. And before we dive in it looks like have 30 minutes on the calendar scheduled for today’s call, I just wanna confirm you’re all set for the full half an hour for our chat today?
Yes
So just to give you a quick idea of how this call will go — first I want to learn a bit more about you, your yoga practice, and what you're currently doing with your classes. Then we can talk about where you're trying to get to with breathwork and what you feel might be missing right now. And if based on what you share it looks like we can genuinely help you with that, I can walk you through what our certification program looks like and what the next steps would be. If it looks like it’s not a fit, that’s no problem at all, and I’ll at least be able to leave you with some good ideas for how you can move forward. How does that sound?
Good.
2. Discovery (7–8 minutes)
You
So to start off, tell me a little about your yoga practice. How long have you been teaching?
Tyler
So I’ve been practicing yoga for about seven years now. I originally got into it when I was working a really stressful corporate job. I was constantly overwhelmed and dealing with a lot of anxiety, and yoga was one of the few things that actually helped me slow down and reconnect with myself.
Eventually I fell in love with it so much that I decided to do my teacher training about three years ago. Since then I’ve been teaching regularly — mostly vinyasa flow classes, but I also teach some slower restorative sessions.
Right now I teach about five classes per week at a local studio and then I also run a couple of small Zoom classes for students who prefer online sessions.
Overall it’s been really rewarding, but lately I’ve started feeling like I’ve kind of hit a plateau.
You
What does that plateau look like for you right now?
Tyler
I think the best way to describe it is that my classes are good, my students enjoy them, but sometimes I feel like I’m repeating the same types of experiences over and over again.
Physically the classes are great. But emotionally or energetically I feel like there could be something deeper happening for my students.
A lot of them come to class dealing with stress, anxiety, or personal struggles, and sometimes they’ll stay after class and talk to me about what’s going on in their lives.
And I want to help them more, but sometimes I feel like I don’t really have the tools to guide them through those deeper experiences.
You
When did breathwork first start becoming something you were interested in exploring?
Tyler
Probably about a year ago.
I attended a breathwork workshop at a retreat I went to, and honestly it was one of the most powerful experiences I’ve ever had.
During the session I had this really emotional release and afterwards I felt incredibly clear and calm. It was like years of stress just melted away.
That experience really opened my eyes to how powerful breathwork can be.
Since then I’ve been really curious about integrating it into my teaching.
You
Have you tried incorporating breathwork into your classes at all yet?
Tyler
A little bit, but not in a structured way.
Sometimes I’ll guide my students through a few minutes of breathing at the beginning or end of class, but I don’t feel like I have a real framework for guiding a full breathwork session.
And honestly that makes me a little hesitant.
Because I know breathwork can bring up emotions for people, and I want to make sure that if I’m guiding something like that, I actually know what I’m doing.
You
So right now would you say the interest is there, but the structure and training are missing?
Tyler
Yes exactly.
I feel like breathwork could really elevate my classes and help my students on a deeper level.
But I don’t want to just guess my way through it.
I want to feel confident that I’m guiding it properly and safely.
3. Pain Points (3–4 minutes)
You
What do you feel is the biggest challenge you’re facing right now when it comes to actually moving forward with breathwork?
Tyler
Honestly I think it’s just not having a clear path.
There’s so much information online about breathwork but it’s hard to know what’s credible and what isn’t.
And I don’t really have a structured system that I can follow.
So I feel like I’m stuck in this place where I’m really interested in it, but I’m not actually progressing.
You
How does that affect you as a teacher right now?
Tyler
Sometimes it makes me feel like I’m holding myself back.
I know there’s more I could offer my students, but without the proper training I feel like I’m limiting myself.
And I think part of me is also worried that if I don’t expand my skill set, my teaching might eventually start to feel stagnant.
You
Have you ever considered offering workshops or deeper experiences for your students?
Tyler
Yes actually.
I’ve thought about doing things like breathwork workshops or small retreats.
But again, I feel like I need the proper training before I could confidently offer something like that.
4. Future Vision (3–5 minutes)
You
Let’s imagine for a moment.
If you were fully trained in breathwork and completely confident guiding sessions for your students… what would that look like for you?
Tyler
I think it would change a lot.
I’d feel much more confident as a teacher.
Instead of just guiding physical movement, I’d be able to help people process emotions, release stress, and have deeper experiences.
I think my classes would feel much more transformative.
You
What do you think your students would experience differently?
Tyler
I think they would feel much more connected — both to themselves and to the practice.
A lot of my students are dealing with stress and anxiety, and breathwork could really help them process those things.
I think they’d leave class feeling lighter and more grounded.
You
Do you feel it would impact your career as a teacher in any way?
Tyler
Honestly I think it would open a lot of doors.
I could offer breathwork workshops, retreats, or even online programs.
It would allow me to expand what I’m currently doing and reach more people.
And I think it would also help me stand out more as a teacher.
5. Clarify Section
You
Tyler, I just want to make sure I’m understanding everything correctly.
From what you shared with me, you’ve been teaching yoga for a few years and your classes are going well.
But lately you’ve been feeling like you’ve hit a bit of a ceiling.
You’re really interested in breathwork because you see how powerful it can be for helping people release stress and emotions.
But the main thing holding you back right now is that you don’t feel like you have the proper structure or training to guide those experiences confidently.
And if you did develop that skill set, it sounds like it could really elevate your classes and potentially open up new opportunities like workshops or retreats.
Did I get that right?
Tyler
Yes
You
Amazing. So based on everything you've just told me so far, it sounds what you're looking for is exactly the kind of thing we help people with inside our program. Can I share my thoughts on the conversation so far and walked you through what that could look like?
Tyler
Yes
You
Perfect. Tyler what really stood out to me is that you're already a strong yoga teacher. Your students trust you, they enjoy your classes, and you've built a solid foundation. But the thing you're really looking for now is how to take that next step as a facilitator — where your classes don’t just feel good physically, but where your students are actually having deeper emotional and personal breakthroughs like the one you experienced yourself. The main thing you're looking for right now is a clear structure and deeper training in breathwork so you can confidently guide your students through those experiences. This exactly what our Breathwork Academy Certification Program is designed to do. Earlier you mentioned that if you had the training and confidence to guide breathwork sessions, you could see yourself:
• helping your students release stress and emotions on a deeper level
• creating more transformative class experiences
• potentially offering breathwork workshops
• maybe even retreats or more immersive experiences down the road
That’s exactly the gap that the Breathwork Academy Certification Program is designed to help bridge.
The goal is that by the end of the certification, you don’t just understand breathwork…
You feel fully confident guiding powerful sessions that genuinely change people’s lives.
Does that make sense?
Tyler
Yes, that makes sense.
You
Amazing. Just so I can get a sense — on a scale from 1 to 10, how confident do you feel that something like this could actually help you take that next step with your teaching?
Tyler
I’d say probably an 8 or 9.
You
That’s great to hear.
And timing-wise, is this something you’d ideally want to get started with sooner rather than later… or what are you thinking there?
Tyler
Yeah honestly if it makes sense I’d probably want to start sooner rather than later.
You
Perfect.
Before we go any further, do you have any questions at all about the program itself? I want to make sure everything feels really clear for you.
Tyler
Yeah actually — how does the program work structurally? Like the training calls and the learning process?
You
Great question.
So the certification program runs over 16 consecutive weeks.
Each week there’s a live Zoom training call, and each session is about two hours long. That’s where we go through the actual breathwork training, the facilitation frameworks, and the core methodology step-by-step.
In between those calls you’ll also have resources, exercises, and practice sessions to complete so you can start integrating the work yourself.
The idea is that you’re not just learning the theory — you’re actually experiencing the breathwork personally and practicing guiding it as you go.
There’s also a community aspect, so you’re connected with other students going through the certification at the same time.
And the certification itself is IPHM accredited, which means it’s internationally recognized as a professional breathwork training program.
So by the end of the program you’re not just familiar with breathwork — you’re actually certified and confident facilitating sessions yourself.
Tyler
Okay that’s really helpful.
And are the calls recorded? Just in case I miss one.
You
Yes they are.
Every call is recorded and uploaded, so if you ever can’t make a session live you’ll still be able to go back and watch the full training.
That way you never fall behind.
Tyler
Got it, that makes sense. I think those are all the questions I had.
You
Perfect.
So Tyler, the investment for the Breathwork Academy Certification Program is $6,000.
Tyler
Okay.
Yeah I think I might need to think about it for a little bit before making a decision. Maybe I could get back to you in a few days?
Can I be blunt with you for a moment Tyler— on calls like this, when someone says they need to think about it, usually it comes down to one of three things.
Either: 123xyz:)
Out of those three, which one do you feel is closest to what you’re thinking right now?
Tyler
Yeah honestly I think it’s mostly the investment.
You
Earlier you mentioned that integrating breathwork could really elevate your teaching and allow you to offer deeper experiences for your students.
If you did develop the skillset to confidently guide breathwork sessions…
How valuable do you think that would be for your practice over the next few years?
Tyler
I think it would be extremely valuable.
You
And when you think about things like being able to offer deeper experiences in your classes, potentially running breathwork workshops, maybe even retreats down the road… it sounds like those are things that could really expand what you're doing as a teacher.
Tyler
Yeah definitely.
You
So if the investment wasn’t a factor for a moment… would this feel like something you'd want to move forward with?
Tyler
Yeah I think so.
You
Got it.
Tyler
But yeah I just don’t think I can make the $6,000 work right now.
You
What we can do for you Tyler is instead of doing the full amount at once, we can split the investment into two. One option some of our students have chosen is $2,500 today and $2,500 in 30 days
Would something like that feel more manageable for you?
Tyler
Yeah that would definitely help.
You
Perfect.
What I’ll do is send you a secure enrollment link where you can complete the first half. Once that’s done, you’ll officially reserve your spot in the upcoming cohort, and we’ll send over all the onboarding information along with access to the community and training schedule.
And then the second half would simply be completed in 30 days.
Tyler
Yes that works.
You
Amazing. I’ll send that link over to you right now.
Once you see it come through just let me know and I’ll stay here with you while you complete the first step.
